Hon. Sunday Aghedo Sends Eid al-Adha, Children’s Day Greetings to Constituents

Hon. Sunday Aghedo, member representing Ovia South West Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, has felicitated Muslim faithful and children on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and Children’s Day.
In a message released on Wednesday 27 2026, Aghedo said the coincidence of the two celebrations offered an opportunity for reflection, gratitude and hope across households in the constituency and beyond.
To Muslims observing Eid al-Adha, the lawmaker prayed that Allah accept their prayers, sacrifices and devotion. He wished them abundant blessings, prosperity and good health during the festive period.
Addressing children, Aghedo described them as “the pride of our nation and the hope of a brighter tomorrow.” He urged them to continue growing in wisdom, excellence and happiness.
The lawmaker said the dual celebrations should serve as a reminder of the values of peace, love and unity that bind communities together. He called on residents to use the season to strengthen bonds with family and neighbors.
Aghedo concluded by wishing everyone a joyful Eid Mubarak and a memorable Children’s Day celebration.
