ON THE VP SHETTIMA'S STATEMENT AND THE TWISTS OF POLITICAL NARRATIVE. By Comrade Haruna Braimoh. 

In a Period of Political horse trading, Decampimg and Recamping, Political crossbreeding in alignment, coalition and "DIS COALITION" One should normally not be surprised of twisted narratives building amongst the Political competitors and their Political appendages. 

But for the Purpose of knowledge sharing, corrective contextual analysis and deconstruction of the obvious "Twisted narrative" Being peddled across the media, One has decided to attempt to drive some salient input and objective senses into the issue. 

Firstly, We should know that there is a clear distinction between "SUSPENSION AND REMOVAL" The Constitution does not provide powers for the Removal of a Governor by the President. 

Secondly, the Constitution Provided the powers for the Proclamation of SoE by the President or any executive and such leads to SUSPENSION "Not Removal" Of the state Governor. 

Section 305 of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria deals with the declaration of a state of emergency. It empowers the President to issue a proclamation of a state of emergency in the Federation or any part thereof, subject to the Constitution's provisions. The proclamation must be published in the official Gazette of the Government of the Federation. 

This section is designed to address situations where the Federation or a part of it is facing a crisis, either due to human actions or natural phenomena. The purpose is to enable the President to take measures to restore peace and order during the emergency, with the expectation that normalcy will be restored afterward. 

As It Relates with Shetima, the VP didn't make any inference or comparison of the action of GEJ to that of Tinubu, Rather was speaking to a Page in the Book written by for AG of Nigeria Muhammed Adoke where he alluded to the fact that it was the admonition of the then AG to GEJ that made the former president not to "Remove" not SUSPENSION!!him(Shetima) from Governor of Borno state. 

Meanwhile, Same GEJ went ahead to declare SOE in some selected LGAs were BH has Hosted their flags and called their CALIPHATE. 

Trying so hard to compare this with the Fubara debacle and twist it with Narrative around the statement of shettima is a pure fallacy of Reiffication and errors of deliberately misplaced contriteness. 

Sadly Politics won't make us all think deep at some point to drive cognitively convincing, efficient and Objective engagement devoid of premeditated sentiments.
