God Saved Me – Governor Radda Breaks Silence After Deadly Road Accident

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State has been discharged after being involved in a minor road accident on Sunday evening along the Daura–Katsina highway. The incident reportedly occurred while the governor was returning from an engagement in Daura.

Although initial reports indicated he sustained a fracture and was receiving medical attention, the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, confirmed to Vanguard that Governor Radda is in stable condition and high spirits.

He explained that the governor was placed under brief medical observation as a precautionary measure but has since resumed his official duties.

In a short live broadcast from his residence, Governor Radda thanked the people of Katsina State and Nigerians at large for their prayers and concern.

“By the grace of Allah, we experienced a car accident, but Alhamdulillah, we came out safe and unharmed,” he said. The update was also corroborated by Bashir Ahmad, a former media aide to late President Muhammadu Buhari, citing confirmation from the Katsina Local Government chairman.
