Bossu Movement Celebrates Decade of Empowerment, Launches State-of-the-Art Printing System
Irrua, Edo State, January 7th, 2025 – The Bossu Movement, a leading non-profit organization dedicated to youth and women's empowerment in Irrua, Esan Central LGA, today marked a double milestone: the official opening of its cutting-edge Bossu Printing System and the 10th anniversary of its impactful Community-Based Empowerment Program. The event, held at the Bossu Movement headquarters in Idumebo, opposite the White House in Irrua, drew a distinguished gathering of dignitaries, community leaders, political figures, and beneficiaries.
The guest list boasted a who's who of Edo State's elite, including Gen. Cecil Esekheigbe, Apex Leader of the All Progressives Congress in Edo Central; Hon. Sam Oboh, representing the Secretary to the Edo State Government; Mr. Rowlings Ekioba, APC Esan Central Chairman; Prince Innocent Ajayi, Vice President of the National Youth Council of Nigeria; Dr. Bartholomew Okuodo, President of CONGO'S; Prof. Odia Osadolor; Hon. Festus Ebea; Mr. F. A. Ineomon, Proprietor of Standard Group of Schools; Amb. Julius Aluebhosele, M.D. of Affluence Group of Companies; and Mr. Saintmoses Eromosele, Executive Director of Oneghe Sele Foundation.
Amb. Kelvin Aigbokhan Isesele, founder of the Bossu Movement, delivered a heartfelt keynote address expressing profound gratitude to partners, donors, and the community for their unwavering support. He highlighted the significance of the new printing system in job creation and economic stimulation within the community. "This is more than just a printing press; it's a catalyst for progress," Amb. Isesele stated.
The celebration included the distribution of empowerment packages – motorcycles, sewing machines, hair dryers, and grants – aimed at fostering entrepreneurship and economic independence among the beneficiaries. Mr. Famous Esekheigbe, Program Coordinator, emphasized the program's decade-long impact, stating, "Empowering our youths and women is fundamental to building a thriving community. This is a testament to our commitment to positive change."
Mr. F. A. Ineomon shared a touching anecdote about Amb. Isesele's selfless nature during his school days, showcasing the founder's lifelong dedication to uplifting others.
The event also featured a tour of the state-of-the-art Bossu Printing System, underscoring its potential to provide affordable printing services to the community.

The anniversary celebration showcased the Bossu Movement's enduring commitment to positive change in Irrua. Keynote speeches from Prof. Odia Osadolor (on entrepreneurship), Mr. Saintmoses Eromosele (on the value of sharing), and Prince Innocent Ajayi (who appointed Amb. Isesele as an ambassador for the National Youth Council of Nigeria's 60th anniversary and urged youth to emulate the Bossu Movement's values) further amplified the event's significance.
