Edo Forestry Commission Chairman Leads Delegation on Condolence Visit to Deputy Governor Idahosa

The Chairman of the Edo State Forestry Commission, Hon. Valentine Asuen, on Monday led directors and staff of the commission on a condolence visit to the residence of the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, over the passing of his mother, Madam Esther Imagiomwawuo Idahosa.
The late Madam Idahosa died at the age of 95. Her death has drawn condolences from government officials, associates, and members of the public across Edo State.
While condoling with the Deputy Governor and his family, Hon. Asuen described the deceased as a kind and gentle woman who was “a mother to all.” He noted that she was always present for her children and lived a fulfilled life.
“Madam Esther Idahosa lived a fulfilled life. She was a mother to all who came in contact with her. We assure His Excellency of our support during this challenging time for the family,” Asuen said. He also offered prayers for the eternal rest of the deceased.
In his response, Deputy Governor Idahosa thanked the chairman and staff of the commission for the visit and for identifying with his family in their moment of grief. He described his late mother as a mother to all who knew her.
The Deputy Governor also briefed the delegation on planned activities to mark the burial ceremony of his late mother, Madam Esther Imagiomwawuo Idahosa.
