A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Edo State, Mr. John Mayaki , has commended Governor Monday Okpebholo over the unity within the party in the state following the successful and rancor-free conduct of the state congress. 

“This Unity we enjoy in the party today tells of the leadership qualities and capacity of the governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo. I celebrate the governor for this unity.”

Mayaki who expressed gratitude to the party leaders and delegates for electing the Emperor Jarret Tenebe-led executive, described the exercise as seamless and peaceful. 

In particular, Mayaki praised the governor for bringing together party leaders across the three senatorial districts and various interest groups in the state. 

Besides, Mayaki also commended Senator Adams Oshiomhole, Minister Abubakar Momoh, former Deputy Governor, Dr. Pius Odubu, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Gen, Cecil Esekhaigbe, Gen. Charles Airhavbere among others for their leadership. 

Continuing, Mayaki said Tenebe’s emergence as party chairman is reflection of his long-standing integrity, capacity, and dedication to the service of the party, state and the country. 

His words, “I believe that with his experience, reputation, and qualities, Tenebe and his exco, will outstandingly fulfill all tasks ahead and in the next four years”, Mayaki added.
