2027: Peter Obi fantastic man but can’t be President – Dino Melaye
Former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, has described ex-Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as a fantastic man who cannot become Nigeria’s President.
Melaye, who spoke on Channels Television on Thursday, insisted that Obi does not have what it takes to unify Nigeria.
Obi has repeatedly declared his intention to contest the presidential poll in 2027.
“But let me even tell you, Peter Obi is a fantastic Nigerian. I have tremendous respect for him, and I’ve said it before, he is a fantastic person, but this is not his time to be President,” Melaye said.
Recall that Dino Melaye after leaving the National Assembly, contested Kogi State gubernatorial election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, but lost to the incumbent governor, Ahmed Ododo.
