*HON. VALENTINE ASUEN CELEBRATES GOVERNOR MONDAY OKPEBHOLO ON BIRTHDAY, HAILS HIS PEOPLE-CENTERED LEADERSHIP*
The Chairman of the Edo State Forestry Commission, Hon. Valentine Asuen, has felicitated with the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a heartfelt message, Hon. Asuen described Governor Okpebholo as “ever focused and undeterred,” noting that the Governor’s nearly two years in office have been defined by humanity, compassion and a clear zeal for leadership.
“Age is a number that comes with experience and enhanced capacity to appreciate what life is and how it must be navigated,” Asuen stated. “This has manifested in the way you have piloted the affairs of our dear state to promote the well-being of our people.”
The Forestry Commission Chairman likened the Governor’s leadership style to “a mother hen who gathers her chicks to protect them from danger and obstacles,” adding that Senator Okpebholo has successfully redirected Edo State from the path of retrogression and set it on the path of meaningful development.
“As you mark another year today, we celebrate not just your life, but the service, sacrifice and vision you bring to Edo people. Happy Birthday, Sir,” Hon. Asuen said.
