LP Southern Kaduna senatorial candidate, Michael Ayuba Auta has announced his defection to the APC, committing to deliver one million votes for Tinubu and Uba Sani in the upcoming 2027 elections.
During his defection ceremony held in his Fai ward, located within the Jaba Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Auta expressed that his choice to align with the APC was influenced by the current political landscape and the significant encouragement he received from his supporters.
He said, “This government has given us a sense of belonging. Today, our people can go to their farms and businesses without fear. Unlike the previous administration, President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani has not segregated us.
“If I could achieve that as an opposition figure, imagine what we will do in 2027. I guarantee one million votes for President Tinubu and Governor Uba Sani. The APC no longer has a problem in Southern Kaduna,”
